장발장 역의 정성화는 정말 좋은 노래와 연기를 보여주고 있다. 탄탄하게 받쳐주는 자베르 형사역의 문종은, 에포닌의 박지연 등도 정말 잘 부른다. 하지만 일부 조연들의 노래는 조금 더 다듬어져야 할 듯. 무대장치와 스크린 영상 등도 스케일 크게 압도한다.
