1320억%의 인플레이션으로 세계 기록을 가지고 있는 나라.
100조 짐바비달러(Z$) 짜리 지폐가 있는 나라.
은행강도가 금고에서 돈을 가지고 나온 듯한 모습으로 구멍가게에 가야 하는  나라.
화폐가치가 자꾸 변하니 거래를 미국 달러 같은 외국 돈으로 해야 하는 나라입니다.

Harare, Zimbabwe (AHN) - Just months after Zimbabwe broke world records by logging a 132 billion percent inflation rate, the African nation is again making news by launching a new currency - the 100 trillion Zimbabwe dollar.

The issuance of the Z$100 trillion notes, along with 10, 20 and 50 trillion currency, is the government's response to the hyperinflation which had been gripping the impoverish country. However, in reality, the equivalent of the Z$100 trillion is just $30 or 20 pounds.

But the new currency may prove too slow to cope up with soaring prices of goods which double every day, or the lack of food and fuel to purchase with the new notes. Many shops also sell their goods with US dollar price tags.

It is not just goods, even services are being pegged in currencies other than the country's own. According to the Herald, a state-run newspaper, the government has ordered that health workers be paid in foreign currency to stem the exodus of doctors and nurses to other countries. [커런트 닷 컴에서 인용]
