마베릭으로 업그레이드후 느려진 파인더

마베릭으로 업그레이드한 후 파인더의 파일 리스팅이 느려졌다.

확실히 느려졌다!

애플 게시판을 찾아보니... 스포트라이트로 파일 인덱스를 다시 만들면 된다고 한다.

Spotlight: How to re-index folders or volumes

Learn how to re-index a folder or an entire volume for Spotlight.

1. 애플 메뉴에서 시스템 조절항목 선택 From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences.
2. 항목 중 스포트라이트 클릭 Click Spotlight.
3. 프라이버시 탭 선택 Click the Privacy tab.
4. 하드드라이브를 리스트에 더함 Drag a folder or an entire volume (your hard drive) to the list.
5. 경고 메시지 뜨는데 무서워말고 예라고 대답 If prompted for confirmation, click OK.
6. 방금 전에 더했던 볼륨을 빼기 버턴으로 다시 제거 Remove the item or volume you just added to the list by clicking it and then clicking the minus ("-") button.
7. 스포트라이트 조절판 닫기 Close Spotlight preferences.

Spotlight will re-index the contents of the folder or volume.

시키는대로 했더니 정말 빨라졌다. 매킨토시 파일 시스템에서는 인덱싱이 중요한 듯.
