Albert Arnold "Al" Gore, Jr. (March 31, 1948- )
미국 부통령 (1993 - 2001 대통령은 Bill Clinton)
2007 Nobel Peace Prize with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
U. S. House of Representatives (1977–85) and U. S. Senate (1985–93), representing Tennessee.
Gore was the Democratic nominee for President in the 2000 election, which was one of the most controversial elections in American history. George W. Bush ultimately prevailed.
Today, Gore is president of the American television channel Current TV (which won the Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Television award at the 2007 Primetime Emmys[3]), chairman of Generation Investment Management, a director on the board of Apple Inc., an unofficial advisor to Google's senior management, and chairman of the Alliance for Climate Protection.
one of Gore's organizations, Save Our Selves, organized the July 7, 2007 benefit concert Live Earth in an effort to raise awareness about climate change.
지구 온난화를 경고한 영화 "불편한 진실"로 오스카상을 타더니 이번에는 노벨 평화상이다. 대통령 선거는 이기고도 졌다고 하지만 대단한 영향력을 가진 사람이 되었다.
